Edgardo moreno – guitar
Edgardo Moreno studied music at the Royal Conservatory of Music and York University.  He has traveled to Chile, Trinidad, Puerto Rico and Venezuela to study local musical traditions. He has worked with contemporary dance choreographers in Toronto and abroad. He has been commissioned to compose music for dance in Venezuela, Mexico, Sweden, England and USA. He has written scores for films Witnessed, Sarah, Zummel (nominated for best score in a short film by Festival of Film and Technology, New York City 2003), Resistance, 1939, Old Country, Departure, well as documentaries and dramas, El Contrato, Cruel Courage, Gummi, It’s For You, Headhunter, Happy Birthday. He has also worked creating music for television travel shows Exploring Horizons for three seasons. Has received nomination for Louis Applebaum composer’s award for emergent film composer. Miguel Vasquez  - flute and percussion
Miguel was born in Chile and is now based out of Toronto. He is in demand as a multi-instrumentalist in Canada and the USA. He has performed and recorded with different groups across Canada, from
St. John’s to Vancouver. Has participated and co-produced various recordings and had several appearances on radio, TV and film. Some collaborations includes, Nazka, Cha-locos, Sumalao, Maderaz, Bongo Gipsy, Orpheus Choir, COBA Dancers, Jack Grunsky and The Toronto Tabla Ensemble. Miguel has been touring schools and offering especially adapted workshops and presentations across Ontario through Prologue to the Performing Arts, with the band Maderaz Latin Music. With some of the bands, he has also has been awarded with various grants from Canada Council for the Arts, The Ontario Arts Council and FACTOR.
 














Paula Andrea Lopez Gonzales-vocals
Has come to Canada from Colombia in 2005. She has been singing professionally since she was 14 years old and has sung in many groups back in Colombia including Maraba (all women band) and La Misma Gente. She has participated freelance in various recording sessions and can sing in different styles that include salsa, rock, and pop music.

In Addition to her participation with Maderaz she is currently singing in Toronto with band Mapale and  as a soloist.


Vladimir Sitnikov – bass guitar
Vladimir was born in Russia and has a Masters degree in music. He has been based in Toronto since 1996. He has performed as a classical guitarist and won numerous international competitions.  He has played bass for various local groups including; Bossa, Nova, Cha-locos, Maderaz, Bongo Gypsy. Has worked as a session player for film and television. He works as a performer and educator in Toronto.
